The "Unwritten" singer, who has been dating businessman Matt Robinson for two years, revealed her beau popped the question on Sunday (September 7, 2008).

She said: "It just happened. I am so excited, and it happened in New York."

"I want to share it with the world. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

The 26-year-old star has refused to give away any details about the impending wedding.

Natasha, who performed at the Fashion Rocks event in the US city last week, said: "We haven't thought about a date. We're just celebrating."

Earlier this year, the British singer revealed she was smitten with her boyfriend because she had finally found someone she felt comfortable with.

Natasha gushed: "What should I say about him? I'm in love!"

"He's a businessman, and it really is a good balance for my career because he's always a solid rock that I just feel very comfortable with, and I feel very loved."

"I was single for a long, long time and I kind of went down kicking and screaming because I liked my single-ness, but he was someone definitely worth giving up being single for."

Christina Applegate free of cancer

Christina Applegate says she is ''100 per cent free'' of cancer.

The 36-year-old actress, who revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this month, has beaten the disease following a successful course of treatment.

She told US TV show "Good Morning America": "I'm clear. Absolutely 100 per cent clear and clean. They got everything out so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."

The "Samantha Who?" star also spoke of her shock when a second MRI scan revealed she had the life-threatening disease.

She added: "I was so mad and I just remember I was shaking. And then also immediately, I had to go into the 'take-care-of-business-mode.'"

"I asked them, 'What do I do now? What – what is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?'"

Christina – who has had regular mammograms to check for the disease after her mother also battled it – changed her diet in a bid to get well.

She explained: "I immediately made those appointments and immediately called around for someone to start teaching me how to live macrobiotically."

A macrobiotic diet consists mainly of fish, beans and vegetables, and avoiding processed foods.

Lilly Allen tries to punch a woman

Lily Allen attempted to punch a woman outside a London nightspot in the early hours of this morning (August 19, 2008).

The incident took place after the unnamed passer-by allegedly hurled abuse at the "Smile" singer outside Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.

Lily then retaliated by trying to hit the woman three times. The woman is said to have laughed off the incident as Lily was taken to a waiting car by her friend, TV presenter Miquita Oliver. In the process, Lily exposed her breasts.

A source said: "A woman outside started shouting to Lily and she just lashed out at her - though she missed with her punch."

"Not surprisingly, the woman didn't seem that scared by Lily. In fact, she seemed more bemused by it all."

The 23-year-old singer was reportedly in a friendlier mood earlier in the evening, laughing with photographers waiting outside Soho's Groucho Club as she playfully punched the air as she left the nightspot.

This is not the first time Lily's temper has got her into trouble.

Last year, she was arrested and cautioned for kicking a photographer after a night out in London.

The former "Baywatch" actress has only revealed her new beau's name to a few select friends, but refers to him in conversation by the pet name she made up for him - Milk-Sheik or Milk for short.

The 41-year-old actress - who has two sons with ex-husband Tommy Lee - first met the royal when she visited Abu Dhabi in June with the Make a Wish Foundation.

Shortly after her trip, Pammy announced she is joining forces with the royal family to build an eco-friendly hotel in the city.

Since then, the actress' new lover has visited her in her hometown of Los Angeles, where the couple were seen meeting up with friends at the Abbey, a gay bar in the city.

A source told E! online: "He is very handsome and Pammy looked very happy."

Pammy - who is divorced from Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon - has also been romantically linked to Criss Angel, Stephen Dorff, Dean Cain and Sylvester Stallone.

Maternal Mom Salma Hayek

The "Frida" actress gave birth to her daughter Valentina Paloma last September and has impressed her friend, American fashion stylist Phillip Bloch, with her parenting skills."

Phillip told America's OK! magazine: "She's nurturing and maternal."

The stylist also revealed Salma was keen to "nest" with her daughter following the birth instead of rushing back to work.

Salma and Valentina Paloma's father, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, announced they had called off their engagement last month, but Phillip insists the actress is dealing well with the split.

He said: "Salma has survived many romances. She finds happiness in the ones she loves. She's passionido!"

Salma and Francois-Henri – who had an unconventional relationship which saw Salma living in Los Angeles while Francois-Henri resided in Paris - were reportedly set to marry later this year.

However, the actress has previously admitted she does not see the point in getting married.

She said: "I don't have a need for marriage. You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children - we have all those things."

"Some people need the commitment. Maybe we'll just have the party!"

Winehouse Invited to Join singing Monk Group

The 72-strong Cistercian Monks Of Stift Heiligenkreuz – who recently scored a number one album of Gregorian chants in their native Austria and have made the top 10 in the UK album charts – believe they could help the "Back To Black" singer overcome her troubles.

The monks are signed to the same record label as Amy, 24, and were given a copy of her "Back To Black" album by a label worker.

Brother Johannes Paul Chavanne, 25, told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "For 10 minutes I liked it. But when I read the lyrics I thought it was sad."

"I would like to invite her here - I feel sympathetic to people like her. She could stay a week or two and discuss the big questions of life - faith might be an answer for her."

Despite singing songs from the 1800s, the monks were keen to dismiss claims they don't keep up with modern living.

They said: "Johannes is a thoroughly modern monk, and has a computer and internet in his cell."

"We are in a tradition that goes back centuries, but we are also of the third millennium, and use the medium of our time."

The music mogul claims he would win the top prize if he took part in a contest to see who could have sex for the longest amount of time.

When asked what brand new Olympic title he thought he could win, Diddy replied: "Who could have sex the longest! I think that's an event I can do well in."

"And probably who could stay up the longest. Just so you know, that's supposed to be funny… even though I am serious."

When queried on who his competitors might be, he added to New York magazine: "Whoever's up for the challenge."

The rapper has previously boasted his sexual performance is so good he "makes women's legs shake."

However, Diddy also insists he has a more sensitive side and likes being romantic.

He said: "There was this young lady recently that I invited to a party but it was a party with just me and her, you know what I'm saying?"

"And I'd made a play list of all the songs that reminded me of her. Because most of them were slow we ended up dancing and then things progressed."

MADONNA ASKS GIVENCHY TO DESIGN WORLD TOUR OUTFITS

Madonna has asked Givenchy to design outfits for her upcoming world tour.

The French fashion house has confirmed its head designer Ricardo Tisci will be creating Madonna's wardrobe for her "Sticky and Sweet" shows.

Givenchy spokeswoman Caroline Deroche-Pasquier revealed Givenchy Haute Couture has made the 49-year-old pop superstar two outfits.

It is believed Madonna will wear one of the Givenchy ensembles when she opens the show.

Tisci, who is renowned for his gothic influence and use of dark fabrics, is delighted to be working with Madonna.

He said: "I feel incredibly fortunate to have been given the opportunity to offer the world of Givenchy Haute Couture to Madonna the Icon, the Artist, the Woman for whom I have so much respect and admiration."

The first outfit - said to have a "Gangster Pimp" influence - features a black satin coat trimmed with jet beads and a black satin waistcoat with a corseted back.

Tisci's second creation - which has a "Gypsy" theme - consists of a long hooded taffeta cape with a fuchsia lining and a black dress with multi-colored ribbons and pink metal chains.

It is not yet known if other designers will be dressing the "4 Minutes" singer during her tour.

Madonna's "Sticky and Sweet" tour kicks off at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, in Wales, on August 23.

JULIANNE MOORE'S TERROR LOVE: Julianne Moore loves feeling terrified.

The "I'm Not There" actress has revealed her filmmaker husband Bart Freundlich thinks she is "strange" because she is always drawn to roles which are scary or where something horrible happens to the character.

She said: "He thinks I'm weird. There was a script I read recently where I was like, 'Oooh, this horrible thing happens and it's really good and then they're all dead!'"

"He's like, 'What is the matter with you?' I'm like, 'I don't know but I like it.' I've always liked things that are meant to terrify."

The actress claims she has always been drawn to dark films, and even loved feeling scared when she was a child.

She said: "When I was a kid, I used to watch this vampire soap opera, 'Dark Shadows.' I loved that show… and I was little!"

"I can remember my sister going into the other room to fold laundry with my mother because she was so frightened. I guess it has translated into the material I want to do as an adult."

Julianne also revealed she has no problem appearing naked in movies, but does find filming sex scenes hard.

She added to Wonderland magazine: "People ask all the time if sex scenes and nudity are hard. What's hard? Not the lines or the physicality, but the emotion."
